Frequently Asked Questions

Why Mexico?
Simply put, Mexico has low cost, low risk, and high quality. Those are three key things that everyone is looking for. Mexico is extremely low cost keeping it very competetive with other foreign markets. The obvious difference being the Mexico provides significantly less risk. Your goods are not halfway across the world. They are minutes away from my office, available to check on at any time. Finally, we've put American and Mexican sewing contractors and apparel manufacturers to the test, and the Mexican sewing always wins. Can you say that about your Chinese manufacturer?

How much can I save?
Obviously, that question depends on what you're already paying. Many American garment manufacturers we've worked with have reported savings of 50%. If you're currently manufacturing in China, we may or may not be able to beat your price. Most often, we can beat other foreign prices, but the difference in quality will be worth it if we can't.

What are your minimums?
Technically, we have no minimums. We don't recommend sending fewer than 500 units down at one time, because you're going to pay for it. The difference will be ascribed to the price. The same principal that applies to any clothing manufacturer remains when working with Mexico. The more you send, the more you'll save.

How much am I going to be paying in customs fees?
That also depends. If your fabric is American or Canadian made, you can reap the benefits of the NAFTA program. If your fabric comes from Asia, which is most common, then we use a program called the 'maquila program'. Using this program we have your fabric cut in the United States, and sewn in Mexico. The duties using this program are also extremely low. But you'll never even have to worry about them since we bundle those costs into the price of your garment.

The bottom line is, every company has a very different situation. One size does not fit all. The only way to find out how much we can save you or how much we can help you is to tell us about your product. So visit the Contact page and let us know how we can help you.
